Shipper

Overview/Position:

The Shipper is responsible for ensuring customer orders are packed and shipped out accurately and on-time. This role actively supports the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prioritize shipments based on customer ship dates and courier or freight pickup schedules.
  • Verify order accuracy by checking products against packing slips and shipping documents.
  • Prepare, package, and secure products for shipment using appropriate materials and methods (e.g., banding, wrapping, foam, boxing) based on product type, size, and destination.
  • Use Kinetic to enter tracking numbers for waybills, weight and dimensions of packages, and print labels.
  • Complete all required shipping documentation, including packing slips, waybills, and courier forms.
  • Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to move skids, stage orders, and load trucks.
  • Coordinate CVS and other scheduled pickups with drivers.
  • Liaise with vendors, couriers, and trucking companies to coordinate shipments and address any shipping or scheduling concerns.
  • General housekeeping of department.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

QC Inspector

Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting drawings to verify parts specifications.
  • Performing and approving inspections on incoming materials, in-process production and finished product using visual and dimensional inspection methods.
  • Measuring and confirm accuracy of parts dimensions using precision tools such as vernier, calipers, tri-micrometers, surface testers and gauges (plug & ring, height, telescopic and dial-bore).
  • Identifying, documenting and processing materials requiring return, rework or rejection for non-conformance to specifications.
  • Communicating required adjustments or corrective action to the supervisor.
  • Collaborating with other departments such as Engineering, Inventory, Production, Machine Shop, Welding, Sales and Purchasing to resolve quality related issues.
  • Using Kinetic ERP to check inventory, process transfers, schedule job completions, conduct inspections, perform item inquiries and other related quality control functions.
  • Documenting inspection results, maintain logs and report deviations from specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
  • Maintaining measuring equipment, ensuring calibration and arranging for repair when required.
  • Assume duties as required.

Valve Assembly Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble valves, actuators, or pneumatic/hydraulic ESD units in accordance to work orders and specifications.
  • Calibrate, test, and verify performance of completed units to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Install and test valve accessories, including mounting and tubing connections.
  • Disassemble units, troubleshoot issues, and repair or replace components as required.
  • Perform assembly preparation tasks such as cleaning and washing parts.
  • Perform painting and touch-up work requiring respirator use.
  • Use Kinetic ERP for job completion.
  • Complete all required documentation, work orders and inspection records accurately.
  • Housekeeping and general shop labour.
  • Assume other duties as required.
