Shipper

Overview/Position:

As a Shipper, you’re responsible for processing outgoing shipments by verifying products with packing slips, prepping, and packaging orders. This role includes documentation, loading, packaging, and clear communication with your team, drivers, and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine order of processing shipments according to customer ship date and courier pickup schedule.
  • Ensure accuracy in completing all associated shipping documentation.
  • Assist customers/carriers with order pick-up and loading.
  • Proper securing of product to shipping pallet/box e.g. banding, wrapping, foam, boxing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Inventory Associate

Overview/Position:

The Inventory Associate picks and distributes parts to production staff, assists the Inventory Parts Lead with the organization and control of parts in the inventory area, and supports all inventory warehousing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory cycle counts in the inventory area.
  • Pick parts and work order items by hand or with parts picker/forklift for production staff.
  • Review and make corrections on work order items.
  • Bag parts and stock accordingly e.g., making parts kits.
  • Sort, move and organize inventory.
  • Use of handheld RF unit for ERP functions.
  • Ensure inventory area is clean and tidy.
  • Wash parts and break down crates.
  • Handle paperwork.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

CNS Machinist – Mills

Overview/Position:

As CNC Machinist, you will produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a Okuma CNC Mills; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. You will use appropriate tools and measuring equipment to make parts to engineering standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans machining process by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications.
  • Program CNC mills by utilizing G-Code.
  • Daily set-ups and operating mills, verifies first-run parts and monitors dimensions, and operations over the job run.
  • Suggests and implements creative solutions for fixtures, jigs, and tooling for efficient machining operations.
  • Inspects finished parts with various measuring tools and completes inspection report.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Good housekeeping and work area cleanliness.
  • Assume duties as assigned.

Farm Hand/Equipment Operator

Overview/Position:

The Farm hand role works on the farm property throughout the summer and then moves to our manufacturing warehouse in the off season. This role requires someone with a variety of farming experience who is flexible and able to switch to a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate farm equipment for haying, feeding hay, harrowing, windrowing, and hay storing.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repair, inspection, and daily greasing of all farm equipment and other machinery.
  • Feeding cattle and horses and reporting any concerns with animal well-being.
  • Property maintenance and inspection for yard and cattle/horse areas (barn, pen, arena, stall, etc.); fence (slab/wire), barn clean up, feed bunks, and stock water.
  • Assist with products produced on farm and materials arriving on-site, such as bulk packaging, loading, unloading, and building skids.
  • Landscape maintenance such as grass cutting, snow removal, etc.
  • Assist with warehousing duties as required.
  • Other duties as required.
